Ceclor Uses Ceclor is an antibiotic in a class of drugs called cephalosporins. Ceclor fights bacteria in the body. It is used to treat many different types of bacterial infections such as bronchitis, tonsillitis, ear infections, skin infections, and urinary tract infections. How to Use Ceclor Take Ceclor exactly as directed on the package or as directed by your doctor. Never take more of this medication than is prescribed for you. Ceclor Side Effects This drug may cause following serious side effects : an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, closing of the throat, swelling of the lips, face, or tongue, hives, or a rash) rash, redness, or itching severe nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea mucous or blood in the stool, or unusual bleeding or bruising. Other, less serious side effects may also occur. Continue to take the medication and talk to your doctor if you experience mild nausea or diarrhea, or yeast infection of the mouth or vagina. Ceclor Precautions Tell your doctor your medical history, including: kidney disease, or a gastrointestinal (digestive) disease such as colitis. Ceclor Overdose If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, seizures, and muscle spasms. Ceclor Notes Do not share Ceclor with others. Ceclor Missed Dose If you miss an Ceclor dosage, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up. Ceclor Storage Store Ceclor at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20-25 degrees C) away from sunlight and moisture.
